Autobody Refinishing Mechanic Claims Assistance

 

 

All vehicles must be properly checked up and maintained regularly to prolong its life and prevent many avoidable unexpected problems that drivers too often run into when their vehicle lacks regular maintenance.  At Autosmart, unless requested, we do not ask our clients to have service packages performed on their vehicle based on mileages driven, such as having an oil change, spark plugs changed along with a transmission flush, brakes fluid flush, and coolant change all at the same time.  In order to act on the best interest of our clients, we perform only the services that are necessary for their vehicle.

Here is a list of common services that vehicle owners should be aware of:

Lubrication Service  (Every 5,000 to 12,000 km or every 6 months):
A lubrication service is the most frequent form of vehicle maintenance. The service typically includes changing the engine oil and oil filter.  As a complementary service, Autosmart will also check your brakes, adjust your tire pressures, check your drive belts, exterior lights and engine fluids for you at no extra charge.

Tire Rotation (Every 8,000 to 12,000 km):
This service extends tire life.

Cooling System Flush (Every 50,000 km or 2 to 3 years)
Long-life coolant in many new vehicles extends it to every 80,000 km or 5 years.

Brake Fluid Flush (Every 50,000 km or 2 years)

Fuel Filter Replacement (Every 50,000 km - plus)

Spark Plug Replacement (Every 50,000 to 150,000 km)
We recommend using NGK spark plugs.

Automatic Transmission Service (Every 25,000 to 150,000 km)
It is also required to have the transmission filter and gasket replaced on selected vehicles when this service is performed.

Engine Timing Belt (Every 100,000 to 150,000 km or 5 to 8-years)
Vehicles with timing chains do not require timing belt replacement.

Drive Belt (80,000 km or 3 to 5 years)
